Cream Cheese Ball

Well, sorta. More like a spread. I never make mine into a ball.
This is a great recipe for entertaining and it is easy to whip together.
I made this for my family to snack on while we are decorating Christmas cookies.
You can serve it with any cracker, I like it with Ritz or Toasteds crackers.

cream cheese spread

Ingredients:
2 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
1 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple, drained
approximately 1/2 cup of finely chopped green bell pepper (you can add more or less)
chopped onion, if desired
chopped pecans, if desired (used to roll the mixture in if you want it to be in the Ball form)
If you want to make the "ball", refrigerate the mixture for a while so it will be easier to form a ball;
then roll in chopped pecans.
Keep refrigerated.
