Cranberry Bars

I love cranberry sauce and we usually
only have it around the holidays.
After making these cranberry bars, we may
be using cranberry sauce more often throughout the year.

This is a fairly easy recipe to make.

You press half the mixture in your pan,
spread the cranberry sauce on the bottom layer
and then crumble the remaining mixture on top.
Pretty easy!

These made the house smell so yummy while they were cooking.

Mmmmm. So good.
I cooked mine for 45 minutes and it was just a
tad too long so I would suggest checking them after 40 minutes.

Cranberry Bars
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 butter
15 ounces cranberry sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the oats, flour, brown sugar and butter with a fork until well combined.
Press half the mixture into a 13x9 pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Spread the cranberry sauce over bottom layer of mixture.
Crumble the remaining mixture over the cranberry sauce.
Cook for 40-45 minutes.

  1. Cranberry is my all-time favorite flavor (even better to me than chocolate!). This sounds delish. Thank you for linking to Super Sunday Sync. Have a wonderful Christmas (almost time, woohoo!).
